Hello! My name is Tianna Edwards and I’m a Marriage and Family Therapy Associate with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Akron (Ohio). I have the pleasure of helping individuals and couples heal from trauma and achieve mental wellness and stability.
I specialize in supporting partners impacted by sexual betrayal and relational trauma. I am APSATS-trained and utilize the Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model, which means my work is grounded in trauma-informed, partner-focused care to assist individuals during the healing process. This advanced training focuses specifically on the treatment of partners who have experienced betrayal trauma, emphasizing safety, stabilization, and empowerment.
In addition to my clinical work, I am a Nurturing Parenting Coach and Facilitator trained through Family Development Resources, Inc. This evidence-based program supports parents and caregivers in developing nurturing, trauma-informed parenting practices that strengthen family relationships, improve emotional connection, and reduce harmful or high-risk behaviors.
My clinical approach includes Emotion Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have experience working with individuals, families, and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, parenting, family conflict, life transitions, self-esteem, and infidelity. Regardless of what brought you to therapy, we can work together, in a safe space, to empower you and to create relationships that are lasting and fulfilling.
