$100 per 50-minute session
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
Many major companies offer their employees a benefit called the "Employee Assistance Program" or "EAP" for short. As applied to mental health counseling, substance abuse counseling, individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy or similar services.
This usually means the company will offer to pay for three or more "free" sessions (with no co-pay) and with very little paperwork required. If services are desired beyond the approved number of EAP sessions, the client can often then utilize his or her insurance benefits (with a small co-pay). This is one of the quickest and easiest ways to get started. Contact your local HR or EAP representative for more information.
Payment is expected at the beginning of each session by Cash, Check, or Money-Order. Credit Cards are subject to a 2.7% transaction fee.
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay $100. If you realize you are not going to be able to make a counseling appointment and it is less than 24 hours, please give us a courtesy call, it may keep you from having to pay the missed appointment fee.
